Menopause The Musical : Live in Orlando at the Plaza Theater. A hilarious show about the "Change" in women which keeps selling out and getting schedule extensions. As sound designer, I selected DPA 4061,4066 minature microphones into EV RE1 wireless systems. Using the DPA 4061 solved many problems including the fact that the director did not want to see any type of microphone . The DPA 4061s are worn in the hair at the hairline of the ladies. 2 Beige DPA 4061-FM and 2 black DPA 4061-BM, 1 DPA4066-F used to blend in with the hairof Earth Mother. Can you see them? The gain before feedback is Crown or Sennheiser MKE2s. The DPA 4061 minatures are lighter and smaller than any other quality mic. The cable quality and the fact that it is light and durable (has kevlar) at the same time gets no complaints from the ladies. The 4061s take a pounding every show with seven costume changes and being bashed with "Cher" wigs.

Menopause The Musical uses DPA 4061,DPA 4066 and Countryman E6 mics into Shure, EV, and Sennheiser wireless systems at the following TOC Productions theaters around the country. Chicago:ApolloTheater, Detroit: Gem Theater, Upland, San Francisco: Theater 39, Orlando: Plaza Theater. the current MTM Laugh out Loud tour utilizes DPA 4066 adjustable headset mics with an EVC RE2 system. Other microphone brands cannot put up with the brutal punishment Menopause the Musical show delivers.

2 Tannoy V12 HPs flown crossfire across the lower seating area while 2 flown Tannoy V15s cover the center to back of theater. Side Fill monitors consist of 2 Tannoy V12 HP. Center stage monitor flown center along with lighting is a Tannoy I8AW. 3 more Tannoy i8 AWs are flown under the front of the stage skirt for front fill speakers. The band monitor is an i6 AW. The complete flown Tannoys are not visible to camera and the audience care hardly see them so they disappear when MTM show is running. This provides a clean look to the theater and show.
