Recent Projects

Provided complete sound system for the 2nd annual Orlando Brass Festival. The FOH consisted of Midas Venice 32 channel audio console, Rupert Neve Portico 5043 compressor, Lexicon 480L, White 1/3 octave EQs, 2 Tannoy V15 with 2 Tannoy V12HP for foldback. DPA 4011 microphones were used for the front line brass, DPA 4090 was used to mic the piano, Summit TD 100 tube DI was used for the Bass. Excellent musicians playing for a worthy cause.

Provided complete sound and recording system for the sold out Arbors Jazz Records Concert

A Very Special Event - A Group of Arbors Records All-Stars Performed Bob Haggart's Original Porgy & Bess Arrangements Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the Venice Community Center, Venice, Florida

All-Star Line- up of Musicians:

Randy Sandke - leader, trumpet, Jon-Erik Kellso - trumpet, Charlie Bertini - trumpet, John Allred - trombone, Wycliffe Gordon - trombone, George Masso - trombone, Ken Peplowski - clarinet, Scott Robinson - saxophone, Dave Weaver - baritone saxophone, Dick Hyman - piano, Derek Smith - piano, Howard Alden - guitar, Gene Bertoncini - guitar, Nicki Parrott - bass, Joe Ascione - drums, Lynn Roberts - vocals

The concert was captured by a 7 camera video shoot in High Definition for a future WEDU Tampa PBS special. Arbors Jazz Records will also release a High Def DVD of the concert and special interviews.

The audio recording and sound system utilized DPA microphones and Tannoy speakers providing a high resolution capture of sound for the audience and recording. Afterwards the audience reported as saying the concert was best sound ever at the Venice Community Center.
