Photo above: Arrow on right shows one of Tannoy V12s out of camera and
visual sight for a better show. Bold arrow on left shows TVs tacky teleprompters.

Above: Mayor Ameritus and Commissioner Bill Fredrick speaking at the
podium utilizing 2 DPA 4028s. The top DPA 4028 was for the taller Mayor and
speakers, the bottom DPA 4028 was a backup and used for shorter folks. The 2
mics were required because years before Glenda Hood's mic failed big time. Whoever
was doing sound then will remain nameless to protect the guilty. The DPA 4028
wide cardiod is without a doubt the most forgiving microphone for this application.
Look where Bill is talking in relation to the mics, FOH and TV truck had no
problems with gain even off axis. The DPA Flamingo stand prevented nervous speakers
from playing with stand unlike tradional "Elvis" goose necks. Next
enter the bagpipes.

the oath with the Judge Roche. DPA minature mics did not distact from any of
camera shots. See remaining photos below.

out America the Beautiful using the EV N/D 767a wireless handheld mic. A great
sounding cost effective wireless HH. Notice how clean the set looks except for
the two ugly black boxes that were the teleprompters which did not work in the
daylight. Audio hid 6 Tannoy i8AWs and 2 Tannoy V12s along the lower steps out
of camera range. FOH stacks were on the extreme right and left upper stairs.
